Why I Started AnchorWeb
I've been building websites since I was a teenager messing around with HTML on my family's computer. Over the years I went deep, full-stack development, database design, server management, SEO. I've built everything from internal business tools to e-commerce platforms.
But what kept frustrating me was watching local businesses, plumbers, electricians, HVAC companies, contractors, get absolutely ripped off by agencies that charged $5,000 for a mediocre WordPress site, then disappeared. Or worse, building their own site on Wix and wondering why nobody was calling.
The gap was obvious. These businesses needed someone who could build something genuinely good, fast, optimised, conversion-focused, but at a price that made sense for a small operation. Not a big agency. Not a freelancer who goes dark after payment. Just a developer who gives a damn.
That's AnchorWeb. I work with a small number of clients at a time so I can give each project proper attention. You get direct access to me throughout, no project managers, no handoffs, no "we'll get back to you in 3-5 business days."

We talk about your business, your goals, and what your current website is (or isn't) doing for you. I'll ask the right questions and give you a straight answer on what would actually help. No hard sell.
Proposal & Quote Day 1–2
I'll send you a clear written proposal: what's included, what it costs, and when it'll be done. No vague "starting from" pricing, just a real number you can say yes or no to.
Build & Review Week 1–2
Once you've approved and paid the 50% deposit, I start building. I'll share a staging preview when the first version is ready, and we'll go through a review round together. Your feedback shapes the final product.
Final Revisions Week 2–3
We refine based on your feedback. Most projects need 1-2 rounds of tweaks, copy changes, layout adjustments, colour preferences. Everything is handled quickly.
Launch & Handoff Week 3
Final payment, then we go live. I handle the domain pointing and server setup. You get full ownership of all files. If you're on a maintenance plan, I'm on-call from here. If not, you walk away with everything you need.
